Last Dinosaurs Take Over Jannus Live

By Heaven Harrison

On February 22nd, 2026 the Jannus Live courtyard filled with the fans of Last Dinosaurs. The Australian band was ready to celebrate the release of their new album WELLNXESS, the reimagining of their popular album Wellness that was released in 2015. The night started with a performance from the band Elmjack who brought fun indie vibes by engaging with the fans and getting them warmed up for the main event.

When Last Dinosaurs finally hit the stage the energy in the audience became electric. The courtyard was filled with Sean Caskey’s melodic voice and driving rhythmic guitar riffs. Lachlan Caskey held his ground with his great leading guitar presence especially during their encore. Dan Koyama played the drums with a passion that his fans have grown to love and expect. He took control of the beats and brought the whole band together. Last but certainly not forgotten, Michael Sloane added a booming low end with his bass lines, remaining focused and epic during this performance.

The Last Dinosaurs rocked their last night in Florida at Jannus Live, in St. Petersburg. The music was amazing, the crowd was spectacular, and the vibes were unforgettable. It was such an amazing night! This is a must see tour and a must see band! This USA tour goes through March 26th, ending in Asbury Park, New Jersey.

“Tour has been great. Tour has just begun, and we've just played the last show in Florida, in St. Petersburg, which is a, really beautiful. It's a really great place. It's a beautiful city, St. Petersburg. We love St. Petersburg. We love Florida. It reminds us of home because it's the same climate and the same vibe of people; and we are extremely privileged to be able to play in Florida. We're very grateful for our Florida fans. The vibe of the people is particularly good in Florida, and that means a lot because, you know, we love a lot of places in the United States to play, but it is a notable difference when you get to Florida, and the vibe is just looser and nice. And I know Florida cops a lot of shit for being kinda like ratchet, like loose place with some crazy people, but hey, that's exactly the same as Australian people, so you know for us, it's a good thing. You know we appreciate it. Love you. Love you, Florida. Love you so much. Thank you guys so much.”, Lachlan Caskey, when asked about how the tour was going.
