Nick Shoulders Fargo North Dakota, The Aquarium

By Opie Beadle

Nick shoulders and the Tennessee stiff legs played to a very enthusiastic crowd at the aquarium in Fargo, North Dakota, on 7/28/2026. The show had a unique energy to it. The venue was packed for a workday night. Many of the concertgoers were not afraid to hoot and holler when necessary (as one should.)

The band performed phenomenally. It was hard to remember this was live music, as Nick's vocal quality was unmatched. This is surprising considering Nick sings, plays guitar, and drums all at the same time. The man has undeniable raw talent. Throughout the night, you could tell the band enjoyed themselves on stage. Nick and the band seem like genuine, good people, mentioning current issues in our political climate, inequities in our country, and some valuable history lessons. This was no shock to those of us who listen to his music, but newcomers, especially from rural North Dakota, definitely needed to hear it.

Nick had a positive energy on stage that continued even after performing songs addressing issues plaguing our planet. It was an extraordinary performance from both Nick Shoulders and The Tennessee Stiff Legs. If you're a fan of good vibes or folksy yodel music, try catching a show near you or at least check out his music.
