Set It Off Brings Electrifying Energy to Orlando Stop on Self-Titled Tour

Hailing from Tampa, FL, Set It Off’s return to their home state felt more like a victory lap than just another night on tour. The Orlando crowd packed into the sold out venue on November 23rd, buzzing with anticipation as the band took the stage on their self-titled tour. With nearly two decades under their belt, the trio—Cody Carson (vocals), Zach DeWall (guitar), and Maxx Danziger (drums)—showed no signs of slowing down.

Their set was a dynamic blend of past and present, effortlessly weaving older fan favorites with the newer, edgier material from their latest self-titled release. From the first note, Carson’s stage presence was undeniable, commanding the room with raw vocals and high-octane charisma, crowd walking and surfing during Killer In the Mirror.  The band’s sound has clearly matured—leaning into heavier instrumentals without losing their signature theatrical flair.

Openers Autumn Kings, Vana, and Fame On Fire each brought a unique energy to the stage. Autumn Kings, with their slick blend of rock hooks and pop sensibility, kept the momentum high and the crowd engaged from the first chord. Vana, who recently signed with Sumerian Records, stood out with a sharp, polished performance that hinted at big things ahead. Another band with Florida roots, Fame On Fire’s set hit especially hard— and the crowd responded with thunderous support.

What stood out most was the connection—between the bands, the music, and the fans. Orlando wasn’t just a tour stop; it was a homecoming, and Set It Off delivered a performance worthy of the title.
