Stephen Day realeased his first EP while still in college, and his sounds has been compared to artists like Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, and Glen Campbell for his warm voice and heartfelt stroytelling. He focus on writing music about love, identity, and real life experience while continuously experimenting with vintage and modern sounds.
Honestly it was amazing shooting for Stephen, there’s no better feeling as an photographer than being about to shoot from anywhere at all time even in the pit during his entire set. Stephen and his team give me the chance to shoot at First Ave in Minneapolis, a venue I had never shot at before, and the whole experience was unforgettable. Stephen’s music was genuinely incredible, on top of all that he’s a super nice person, after his set he went straight to the merch table to meet fans, chat with them, take photos and sign their stuff.I
